Youths at UN Universal Children’s Day suggest fixes for the world

More than 100 children  stormed the United Nations in New York on November 20 in a the first-ever U.N. takeover of its kind as part of Universal Children’s Day.

Their aim? To send a strong message to grown-ups everywhere that millions of children still suffer from poverty, hunger and violence.

UNICEF says 1 in 12 children worldwide live in countries where their prospects today are worse than those of their parents.

180 million children in 37 countries are at higher risk of extreme poverty, lack of schooling, or being violently killed.
