The sixth meeting of Central and Eastern European Countries and China, the so-called 16+1, ended in Hungary with big numbers.

China pledged more than three billion U.S. dollars in funding for development and investment projects in the region.

A new freight train service was launched from Budapest to China’s Hunan Province, running more than 10.000 kilometers and facilitating trade.

CGTN’s Aljosa Milenkovic explains this shift to the east.
