Crowdfunding movement makes its way through Mexico

More and more people around the world are now helping out others in a very direct way. They’re making small loans over the Internet directly to people who need it. And those people are paying them back.

In the last year alone, almost 35 billion dollars in person-to-person loans were made, worldwide. It allows lenders to bypass banks to open small businesses or bring their creative dreams to life.

This remarkable movement is called Crowdfunding.

Americas Now Correspondent Mike Kirsch reports on how its changing lives around the world, especially in Mexico.
