TELL SPRING NOT TO COME THIS YEAR

ABOUT:

In 2014, NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) began handing over security in Afghanistan to the newly formed Afghan National Army (ANA).

Following a unit of the ANA over the course of its first year of deployment without NATO support, “Tell Spring Not to Come This Year” tells the story of the human side of combat. Told from a largely unheard and misrepresented perspective, it explores the deep personal motivations, desires and struggles of a band of fighting men on the front line.

Without a NATO soldier in sight and no narrative but their own, this is story of the war in Afghanistan, told through the eyes of the Afghans who live inside it.
