Musicians from the Middle East keep their culture alive in Sao Paulo

Americas Now

Sao Paulo is one of Brazil’s most culturally-diverse cities. Some of its most popular restaurants were started by immigrants from Japan, Germany, Italy and Africa.

Now, a new bar and restaurant has become a big draw in Brazil for anyone interested in exotic flavors and sounds.

It’s the brainchild of a Palestinian man who teamed up with other immigrants to create a place where people from other lands can showcase the best of their music and culture.

Our Urban Voice on “Americas Now” is the Sao Paulo music bar … Al Janiah.
