Thirty-one people were killed and more than 40 others were injured following a fire in a hospital in Miryang in the Republic of Korea Friday, according to the Yonhap News Agency.

The fire is suspected to have started early Friday morning in the emergency room in the main building of Sejong Hospital. The fire is now extinguished.
