Smartphone maker Huawei struggles in the US

It’s now the second largest smartphone maker in the world. But not here in the U.S.

China’s Huawei has been blocked from partnering with carriers based on unsupported claims by some U.S. lawmakers that Huawei phones – including its new 5G-capable smartphone – pose a national security risk to the United States. Huawei denies this.

Is it down to politics? Or a genuine concern?
