Making beautiful music with an instrument that boosts brainpower

It’s been long believed by scientists that listening to music can have a positive impact on the development of a child’s brain.

But a recent study by Northwestern University in the U.S. says that listening to music isn’t enough. Being actively engaged in the music by playing an instrument increases the benefits to the brain even more.

Not all children have access to instruments however. In Colombia, one man is trying to give them that access. He’s invented an instrument called the Ludofono.
