A crisis is deepening in northern Syria, a month after Turkey launched “Operation Olive Branch” to drive out Kurdish forces.
Syrian state TV reports pro-Assad militias will enter that battle to support the Kurds, while Ankara is warning Damascus against entering Afrin.
