Trump calls for ban on “bump stock” gun modifications

U.S. President Donald Trump is signaling his support for at least some amount of gun restrictions, after a deadly school shooting in the state of Florida.

Trump told the nation he wants to ban “bump stocks” — devices that turn legal guns into rapid-fire machine guns.
