Falcons protect bird strikes at airport in Mexico City

You may recall the story from 20-09 of pilot Captain “Sully” Sullenberger.

He made a sudden crash landing on the Hudson River in New York City and saved the lives of all 150 passengers on board his plane.

Well, the cause of that crash was a bird strike which disabled the plane’s engines.

At Mexico City’s International Airport, they’ve found a way to prevent this problem. They train falcons to keep other birds away from the planes.

Take a look at these “birds of prey” on patrol at the airport.
