Millennials in China struggle to get healthy amount of sleep

China 24

A recent survey found that 60 percent of Chinese people born in the 1990s can’t seem to get enough sleep.

CGTN’s Zhao Yuheng spoke to some millennials to find out why.

The survey reports that the average sleeping time of Chinese millennials is 7 and a half hours, shy from the recommended 8 hours.

It also cites career concerns, such as overtime and high stress, as the most common reasons keeping people awake, with cell phones and computers creating even more distractions from sleeping.
