In the debate about impending U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports, the actual value of U.S. exports to the China market – and what they add to the U.S. economy – is often overlooked. In 2016 alone, exports in goods brought $113 billion in revenue to U.S. based businesses – a 114 percent increase from 2006. In fact, China is the U.S.’ most rapidly expanding market in the world, bringing both revenue – and jobs – to the United States.
