A paperless tax system increases Mexico’s revenues by billions of pesos

The World Bank recently ranked Mexico’s government among the most efficient and streamlined in the world. It’s all because Mexico went “paperless” and is doing more electronic record keeping than ever before.

That’s made the government more transparent for money coming in and going out.

It’s also convinced more corporations and citizens to file their income taxes electronically, holding them accountable as well and increasing the country’s annual tax revenues.
