Hairdresser’s Alley in Cuba alters appearances

It was once one of the most unsightly streets in Havana. But today it has become one of the capital’s most attractive avenues.

It’s called Hairdresser’s Alley. And it was the creation of a hairstylist who had a barbershop on the street. He worked with his neighbors to revitalize the thoroughfare.

Now, in addition to altering the appearances of his clients with his hairstyles, he’s transformed their surroundings too.
