Pompeo meets Netanyahu on Middle East tour

The U.S. Secretary of State is in the Middle East, looking to gather international support against Tehran. He met with Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to muster support for new Iranian sanctions.

He is now in Jordan to consult King Abdullah.

As Mike Pompeo embarks on his madian voyage to the Middle East as U.S. Secretary of State, the tour comes amid a shifting diplomatic landscape in the region.
