She was forced to work as a prostitute in Argentina. Now she counsels victims of sexual exploitation.

 

Our Game Changer on “Americas Now” is an activist from Buenos Aires who was forced into prostitution. She currently works at a university organizing events and giving speeches about her experience.

Alika Kinan also won a landmark case against her captors and campaigns for more far-reaching policies to effectively tackle human trafficking. Her foundation helps women who have fallen prey to trafficking rings.

Alika has been lauded in Washington DC as a hero working against human trafficking.
