Who says libraries are a thing of the past? In China, they’re a thing of the future, especially the new one in Tianjin that’s turning heads (and pages).

The Tianjin Binhai Library is massive (33,700-square-meters), contains an illuminating sphere straight out of Sci-Fi film, and a “book mountain,” which the library advises to avoid if you’re wearing high heels, aren’t fit for hiking, and are under the age of 14.
