A revolution in lab testing could be underway. Numerous startups are harnessing technology that lets you take medical tests at home and send them in for analysis instead of visiting a doctor’s office.

They can test for fertility, sexually transmitted diseases, vitamin deficiencies and more.

The benefits to the consumer are obvious but are they reliable?
