Over the past 20 years China has learned to love one U.S. export – pecans. And no state sells more of them to China than Georgia.

Farmers have spent decades fostering personal relationships in China resulting in lucrative sales. But the Trump administration’s trade war is threatening the economy of rural Georgia – a state that solidly supported him.
