African leaders joined Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing this week for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
This, just a couple of months after Xi visited four African nations and attended the Johannesburg BRICS Summit.
China-Africa relations are riding a high, with infrastructure projects and development initiatives moving full speed ahead.
For a look at the highlights of this week’s summit, CGTN’s Zou Yun reports.
To discuss Chinese investment in Africa:
- Chen Chenchen is deputy director in the Department of Macroeconomics at Renmin University.
- David Owiro is an economics and public policy analyst.
- Sourabh Gupta is a senior fellow with the Institute for China-America Studies.
- Witney Schneidman is a former deputy assistant U.S. Secretary of State for African Affairs.
