The U.S. administration has imposed sanctions on China’s military for purchasing weapons from Russia.

The U.S. says China is in breach of sanctions Washington imposed on Moscow over Russia’s role in Ukraine and its alleged interference in U.S. politics.

Meanwhile, China has responded strongly and is demanding that the sanctions be withdrawn.

China pushes back against US sanctions on Chinese military department

China is responding forcefully to new U.S. sanctions against a Chinese military department for purchasing Russian fighter jets and surface to air missile systems in 2017.
