American Dream: Economic revival leaves many behind

If you look at the economic statistics the American Dream is alive and well in the United States.

GDP grew 3.5 percent in the 3rd quarter after a 4.2 percent jump in the second. The Unemployment rate is at a 49 year low of 3.7 percent.

Home ownership nearly 65 percent.

But as CGTN’s Nathan King continues his road trip across the U.S. ahead of the midterm elections there are pockets of the U.S. that are being left behind, including a small town in Pennsylvania just outside Pittsburgh.
