What’s killing the bees in Colombia?

Scientists have been investigating a decline in the world’s bee population in the past decade. In the U.S. alone commercial beekeepers have reported the loss of more than 40 percent of their bees since 2006.

In Colombia, a similar phenomenon is also occurring. But one beekeeper says he’s not going to sit back and watch it happen. He’s now actually helping pass laws to protect the bees.
