Mexico City is notorious for its congestion and air pollution. The effects of urbanization have also coincided with a loss of green spaces. It not only affects the health of residents but their outlook as well

But one man is convinced the tide can change. He’s started by using plants to beautify congested highways and increase the level of oxygen.

Fernando has received invitations to implement the Via Verde program in L.A., New York and many other cities around the world that are also struggling with pollution and the negative effects of over-urbanization.
