Tourism soars in Africa as countries ease visa rules, diversify experiences

Governments are working to make it easier to get there – relaxing visa rules and increasing safety. And the travel industry is making it easier to get to around the massive continent with increased air service.

Kenya Airlines recently launched the first non-stop service from Nairobi to New York City, hoping to entice more North American tourists with the direct route. As CGTN’s Ramah Nyang reports – it’s too soon to tell if the strategy is paying off.
