The U.S. government shutdown, is now on track to become the longest in history. Friday marked Day 21.

It’s also the first week that hundreds of thousands of government workers were not paid. The impasse is over President Trump’s demand for a border wall.

But Trump now says he may not declare a national emergency to build the wall. At least not ‘right now.’
