The Heat: China-US trade and Trump-Kim summit

The Heat

The trade dispute between the U.S. and China rumbles on with a major deadline approaching and more talks scheduled for Beijing.

The White House announced Friday that a U.S. delegation is headed to Beijing next week for further trade discussions with their Chinese counterparts. This follows recent talks between the sides in Washington.

But will anything significant be accomplished before an early March deadline when the U.S. threatens to further increase tariffs on China?

And, President Trump also announced this week that he will travel to Vietnam at the end of the month for another summit with DPRK’s leader Kim Jong un.
