A doctor of Chinese medicine improves the lives of ill children in Peru

Americas Now

Peru’s rugged terrain of desert, mountains and jungle has long made travel difficult. And with some services, like specialized medical treatment, only accessible in the capital of Lima, residents of remote regions often go without care.

For the last eleven years, a doctor has led a non-profit organization to help such citizens. The organization is called “Inspira” and it provides free housing, meals and support to sick children and their families.

It also helps the children retain their sense of illusion and innocence.

For our “Game Changer” meet Doctor Ricardo Pun Chong.
