Brexit debate turns into parliamentary chaos

British Prime Minister Theresa May has said she’ll resign if her Brexit agreement with the European Union secures enough votes to be ratified by the U.K. Parliament.

She told members of her ruling Conservatives that if they voted for her deal, she would take no part in the next stage of Brexit, negotiating a trade relationship with the EU.

But as CGTN’S Richard Bestic reports from London, none of the alternatives to Theresa May’s Brexit plan received a parliamentary majority.
