Crucial trade negotiations between the United States and China continue in Washington, as both sides try to hash out a deal. Is a breakthrough on the horizon?

Making good headway.” That’s how White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow characterized the latest round of trade talks. His comments coming as the focus shifted to the U.S. capital. 

Vice Premier Liu He led the Chinese delegation at the U.S. Trade Representative offices Wednesday. He was greeted by American Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.  The meetings in DC follow two days of negotiations last week in Beijing.
