As the 21st EU-China Summit comes to a close in Brussels, China and the European Union agreed to strengthen their trade relationship.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang also vowed to improve market access for foreign companies and investors.

Klaus Larres is a Professor of History and International Affairs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He’s an expert on contemporary EU economic, and security policies. He spoke with CGTN’s Elaine Reyes about the current state of China-EU relations.
