Argentina inflation rate heats up, putting pressure on business owners

Argentina has announced temporary price freezes on a number of basic products and after figures for March showed the inflation rate up nearly 5 percent for the month and nearly 55 percent on a rolling 12-month basis.

Inflation is just one of the problems facing thousands of small and medium-sized companies in the country.

Many are struggling to stay open as the recession continues.
