The Heat: US-China trade talks end with no deal

The Heat

US China Trade

Many expected the latest round of trade talks between the US and Chinese sides would bring about a deal.

Instead, China’s top trade negotiator Vice Premier Liu He is on his way back to Beijing after negotiations broke down. This all comes on the heels of U.S. President Donald Trump following through with his threat to impose tough penalties on Chinese goods, with more on the way. China has vowed to hit back, but what those retaliatory measures could look like remains to be seen.
