Iranian President Rouhani has reacted strongly to U.S. President Trump and the new sanctions he announced against Iran earlier this week.
Rouhani called the sanctions – quote “outrageous and idiotic” and he said the White House is suffering from a mental disability. Rouhani also accused the U.S. of being insincere in saying that it still wants to negotiate with Tehran. President Trump lashed back on Twitter saying Iran does not understand reality. Trump warned that – quote- “Any attack by Iran on anything American will be met with great and overwhelming force. In some areas, overwhelming will mean obliteration.”
