NYC teens trade beach fun for entrepreneurship lessons

Summer camp often conjures up images of roasting marshmallows on campfires, splashing in the water and running around with friends-not learning about ROI, return on investment, or how to write a business plan.

But for some American kids, camps that focus on entrepreneurship are now part of the summer experience

Having a more diverse skillset can help open more doors to different jobs. So training is key in keeping one relevant for the labor market. For some forward-looking parents, that means getting their children prepared for the real world earlier in life.
