The Heat: Iran nuclear deal

The Heat

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has announced the country’s third step on scaling back its commitment to the 2015 nuclear agreement.

Iran will begin developing more advanced centrifuges to accelerate the enrichment of uranium.

President Donald Trump, who pulled the United States out of the nuclear deal last year, imposed new sanctions against Iran earlier this week as a strategy to negotiate a new agreement with Iran.
