A program reunites undocumented migrants with elderly relatives

Family separation is one of the painful consequences caused by migration.  Those who decide to leave their country for another, must say goodbye to loved ones they may never see again.

In the U.S., a broken immigration system has resulted in thousands of immigrants living in the country undocumented. For them, the possibility of seeing the loved ones left behind, is close to impossible.

But a new program is trying to alleviate that burden by facilitating a brief family reunion in the U.S.. CGTN Correspondent Alasdair Baverstock has the story from Mexico.
