The Heat: Impact of U.S. killing Iranian General

The Heat

Crowds estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands turned out in Tehran on Monday to mourn the loss of their top general Qasem Soleimani.
Iran has vowed revenge for his death after he was killed by a U.S. drone strike last Friday in Baghdad. Tensions between the U.S. and Iran are soaring, with Tehran vowing to strike back. Meanwhile, the U.S. has vowed to hit Iran hard if it does that. The crisis has drawn lots of international reactions with calls for de-escalation and restraint.
