The chief justice of the United States, along with U.S. senators, took a special oath Thursday to hear the impeachment trial against Donald Trump beginning Tuesday. The U.S. president is accused of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, related to his withholding military aid to Ukraine and pressuring Ukraine to investigate political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden. Trump has until Saturday to submit his formal responses against him but is already speaking out against the trial.
