Mexican food has the distinction of being one of the world’s most popular cuisines. Famous from Texas to Tokyo for its tacos and burritos. The authentic dishes have conquered minds and palates.

But Mexican food is far richer than just tacos. Oaxacan cuisine could be positioned as the mother of all Mexican food.

The Oaxacan cuisine reflects ancient traditions rooted in a culture that people are fighting to preserve by handing down the philosophy behind the food to the next generation.
