The coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, is showing no signs of letting up. There are now more new cases outside the Chinese mainland than inside the country.
Brazil announced its first case Wednesday, making it the first case in South America. President Xi Jinping said China is making progress but said the situation is still complex in Hubei Province and its capital Wuhan.
