The number of people with coronavirus is growing. More than 450.000 people have been infected, worldwide, and more than 20.000 have died.

To try to stop the spread of the virus, countries are taking tough measures. In India, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a lockdown of 1.3 billion people, police are punishing those who disobey.

In Spain, the number of deaths surpassed 3400, making it the country with the second highest death toll, behind Italy. Spain has confirmed more than 47 thousand cases, and the government expects this number to climb in the next few days.

In the United Kingdom, Prince Charles, the next in line for the throne, tested positive for coronavirus. He is self-isolated and in good health and good spirits, according to a Buckingham Palace spokesman.

In Brazil, President Jair Bolsonaro is under fire after making an address to the nation minimizing the pandemic and urging Brazilians to get back to work.

And here in the United States, the Senate agreed to a two trillion dollars stimulus package. The money will help fight the coronavirus and also support businesses suffering from the economic slowdown.
