The Heat: Wuhan lifts travel restrictions

COVID-19

Lots of developments in the past 24 hours. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in intensive care at a London hospital. He is not on a ventilator and he’s reported in stable condition.

In the United States, 731 people have died in the state of New York since Monday – the largest number of deaths in a single day since the crisis began.

And a glimpse of hope from China. For the first time since January, the country recorded no deaths related to the outbreak. And after 10 weeks, the city of Wuhan – home to 11 million people – lifted its travel restrictions. Zhou Jiaxin reports from Wuhan.
