The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has surged past 2.5 million reported cases. And, more than 175,000 people have died. The case load is growing across the African continent amid fears that it could spread more aggressively there. Meanwhile New Zealand remains one of the most successful countries battling the virus. And in the United States more help is on the way for an ailing economy as the debate over when to re-open intensifies.
