COVID-19: Fed vows more financial aid during crisis, Boris Johnson let out of ICU

The head of the WHO, Tedros Ghebreyesus, says there are worrying upward trends in Africa, Central and South America and is calling on all countries to remain vigilant.


The United States has the most cases of any country with more than 839-thousand confirmed cases and some 46-thousand deaths. U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order barring new immigration for people seeking permanent resident cards or green cards for the next sixty days. Trump says the action will protect unemployed Americans. Trump says the action will protect unemployed Americans. Health officials say the coronavirus doesn’t discriminate based on race or ethnicity. But, Blacks and Latinos in the United States are being infected at a higher rate as essential workers.
