It all began at a nursing home in Washington state.Or at least that is what was known at the time. When the first deaths from the coronavirus took place researchers began testing and scientists sounded the alarm. But the invisible enemy was already spreading throughout the community. Correspondent Mike Kirsch deployed to Ground Zero during the peak of the curve in Seattle as the death count was rising rapidly.

Long before the COVID-19 outbreak in New York, the coronavirus first made its mark in King County, one of the most populated counties in the United Stated.
