Argentina bans commercial flight sales until September

All ticket sales for commercial flights to, from or within Argentina have been banned until the first of September.

The measure has prompted outcry from the country’s airline industry over what is one of the toughest travel bans in the Americas. But the measure is in line with the government’s policy of putting public health first.

CGTN Joel Richards spoke to Alejandro Kogan, Argentine Cabin Staff Association, and he said “the measure favors passengers so they don’t pay for a service or flight that they don’t know if they will be able to use.”
