This year’s big political season in Beijing is now in full swing after being postponed for more than two months because of the coronavirus pandemic. China’s National People’s Congress convened Friday at the Great Hall of the People. The big item on the agenda was the address of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang. He delivered the 2020 government work report and addressed major issues like poverty alleviation. We also learned more about China’s economic plans.
