In Brazil, a country of 210 million people in the heart of a continent that has become the epicenter of the pandemic, access to COVID-19 screening tests is a major issue. Scientists at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo have developed a COVID-19 screening test system.

The system produces up to 16 times more tests than what is currently possible. It uses innovative technology that hasn’t been done anywhere in the world. 1,536 examinations can be carried out each time the sequencing machine is used.
